Celebrating Our Differences: Creating Positive Change in a Divided World

Sunday, January 28, 2018

Sri Guru Singh Sabha Gurdwara, 8115 132 Street, Surrey, British Columbia

  • Doors open at 3pm
  • Program runs from 3:30 - 5pm
  • Dinner from 5 to 6pm

Join us this January 28 as we kick off World Interfaith Harmony Week. The talented musicians and storytellers of the Daughters of the Drum and the Naad Foundation are returning for another inspiring gathering.

Through stories and songs from many spiritual traditions, we will explore how to create positive change in a time of great uncertainty and fear. We will acknowledge the courage of our sisters and brothers who shared their “me too” stories and explore how we can positively empower ourselves going forward so that we can live in harmony with each other.

Admission is free, and all are welcome to attend and share in Langar, the traditional Sikh communal meal. The 2018 Multifaith Calendar entitled “The Power of Inspiration” will be available for sale before and after the program.
