World Interfaith Harmony Week was first proposed at the UN General Assembly on September 23, 2010 by H.M. King Abdullah II of Jordan. Just under a month later, on October 20, 2010, it was unanimously adopted by the UN and henceforth the first week of February will be observed as a World Interfaith Harmony Week. For more information, visit www.worldinterfaithharmonyweek.com.

This year, World Interfaith Harmony Week will be observed between February 1 and February 7.

Unfortunately, World Interfaith Harmony Week looks a little different here in BC this year due to the restrictions on in-person meetings, but we are delighted to see so many different individuals and organizations throughout the Lower Mainlaind hosting virtual events and web conferences instead. We've done our best to compile all of the relevant information for you in the attached poster (click here to download). Please note that many of these offerings are being planned by third parties, and we are merely helping to spread the word (event organizers and their relevant contacts are provided where applicable).

if you are aware of (or are planning) an event that isn't listed here, we invite you to contact us at admin@multifaithaction.org.
